Risk Management Audit
Transport organizations and public transit systems need to be confident their vehicles are providing safe environments for passengers and drivers. Just one vehicle-related incident can cost tens of thousands of dollars and even lives.
We offer a no-cost Risk Management Audit to assess any safety gaps within the fleet and identify options for increasing security for all those on board that includes:
- Review fleet vehicle inventory
- Assess age and status of MDVR and camera equipment currently in use
Installation
The value of hands-on experience can’t be overstated – we do not contract out work to independent contract companies. Knowing how a vehicle’s systems are cabled from front to back is critical when drilling access holes for mobile digital video systems, as is identifying when an interior needs additional stability to support camera mounts.
Training
Our commitment to our customers extends beyond providing and installing video recording systems. It includes delivering hands-on training of how to use the technology to enhance safety and reduce costs.
We offer in-person and virtual training sessions that cover viewing data, downloading files for documentation, fleet communication, maintenance and overall best practices. And because we design and deliver the training, it can be customized to suit specific transit system needs and situations.
Upgrades
Over time, even the most advanced technology begins to show its age. We conduct a thorough audit of fleet vehicles’ MDVR system to identify whether everything is fully operating and provide a recommendation for modifications or upgrades that could help provide a safer, more secure environment for drivers and passengers.
Refurbishment
Our systems are optimized to operate in the harsh transit environment with minimal maintenance, and many of our customers operate their systems for years without any intervention from us. But as with any technology-based product, periodic tune-ups keep our systems running smoothly and we offer refurbishment services on all or part of the fleet at any time.
Our refurb services include:
- Software/firmware upgrades as needed for each DVR
- GPS receiver orientation is proper for maximizing location data
- LED Extender operation to ensure drivers can immediately determine the video system is working properly
- Ensuring all cameras are capturing desired views
- Cleaning all camera lenses
- Replacing hard drives that are reaching the end of their functional life
- Upgrading disk drives to Solid State Drives (SSD) as needed
- Adjusting and tightening all hardware as needed
